Thank you for choosing the Set AI Box to enhance your TV viewing experience. Please follow these safety precautions to ensure safe and proper use.

Overview of Set AI Box

What's in the box

  1. SetAIBox
  2. IR Cable
  3. Micro USB Cable
  4. Power Adapter
  5. RCA Cable

Initial Steps for Setup:

  1. Connect the RCA cable from the Set AI Box to your set-top box.
  2. Connect the IR cable to the Set AI Box and point it at the TV or projector.
  3. Plug in the power adapter and turn on the Set AI Box.

How to get started

You have two setup options:

  1. Using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi pairing mode via the mobile app. (Recommended)
  2. Manual setup.

By default, the Set AI Box enters Bluetooth pairing mode for mobile app setup.

Please Note: Use your TV or projector remote for the following steps.

Download the App:

  1. Download the Set AI Box App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Bluetooth Pairing:

  1. The Set AI Box will be in Bluetooth pairing mode by default. The LED will cycle through colors to indicate readiness.
  2. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  3. Open the Set AI Box App and click "Start Setup."
  4. The app will search for nearby Set AI Box devices. Keep your phone close to the Set AI Box.
  5. Once found, the app will connect to the Set AI Box and retrieve available Wi-Fi networks.
  6. Enter your Wi-Fi password.
  7. Once connected, you will see the App Dashboard.

Remote and Preferences Setup:

  1. Click "Select Remote" and choose your TV/Projector/Soundbar brand.
  2. Test the remote buttons in the app. If they work, click "Save."
  3. Click "Selected Preference" at the bottom to set the volume level or other preferences.

Adding or Re-recording Buttons:

If your remote is not listed or you need to add/re-record buttons, follow these steps:

  1. Click the settings icon next to the default button.
  2. Name the button and record it by pointing the remote at the Set AI Box.
  3. Test the button. If the LED blinks yellow, it’s recorded.
  4. Submit and check the dashboard for the recorded button.

If your remote is not listed and you want to Add that remote button.

Steps:

  1. Click on the setting option Beside to default icon
  2. Click on the setting option and give name for the button
  3. Click on record and point remote toward Set AI Box and record buttons you required
  4. Click on the test and observe on the device it should show yellow LED blinking.
  5. Click on the submit and check on the dashboard your recorded button

Note : Buttons which are not from the listed remote will be showing in the black colour.

If your remote is already listed and you want to add an extra button or re-record any button.

Steps:

  1. Click on the setting option Beside to default icon
  2. Click on the setting option and give name for the button
  3. Click on record and point remote toward Set AI Box and record buttons you required
  4. Click on the test and observe on the device it should show yellow LED blinking.
  5. Click on the submit and check on the dashboard your recorded button

Manual Setup

Once powered up, the Set AI Box will be in Bluetooth pairing mode by default.

  1. To enter manual setup mode, long press the Set AI Box button. The LED will turn yellow and off, confirming manual setup mode.
  2. Use the remote of the TV you want to set up. Press the button or combination of buttons you want to use for CONTENT to AD transmission. For example, press the volume down button three times or press the Mute button if you prefer to mute. Once done, short press the Set AI Box button. The LED will cycle between yellow and white, indicating the recorded codes are transmitted.
  • Check and confirm by short pressing the button to ensure the correct codes are transmitted. Once confirmed, short press the button again. The LED will turn off and yellow, indicating it's time to record codes for AD to CONTENT transmission. For example, press the volume up button three times or press the Mute button if you prefer to mute.
  • Once done, short press the button. The LED will cycle between white and yellow. Once confirmed, the setup is complete. The device will now start taking actions based on ads and content.
  • Manual mode setup is now complete. Enjoy a seamless viewing experience with Setaibox.

Safety Precautions

Installation and Setup:

  • Follow the installation instructions to connect the Set AI Box to your set-top box, soundbar, or projector.
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected and avoid placing the Set AI Box near heat sources, water, or moisture.

Power Supply:

  • Use the provided power adapter with the Micro USB cable. 

Button Usage:

  • Use the correct button press (long or short) as described in the manual to prevent accidental activation or setup changes.

Bluetooth Pairing and Mobile App Setup:

  • Keep your smartphone near the Set AI Box during Bluetooth pairing and app setup.
  • Enter Wi-Fi credentials securely in the app.

Remote Control Usage:

  • Use the TV or projector remote for manual setup.

Environmental Considerations:

  • Place the Set AI Box in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
  • Avoid exposing the Set AI Box to extreme temperatures or humidity.
